Dancing With the Stars Season 35 Cast
Dancing With the Stars is a reality TV competition featuring celebrities dancing with professional dancers, and it is returning with its 35th season premiere on Tuesday, September 15th. Season 34 was filled with many fan-favorite celebrities like TikTok star Alix Earle, Jen Affleck, and Whitney Leavitt from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and the winner of the season, Robert Irwin, son of Steve Irwin. Now, 14 new faces join this season's cast in hopes of taking home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. So far, only four names have been released.
Ciara Miller was one of the first members to be announced for this season. Miller is best known as a cast member on Bravo’s Summer House and season 3 of Peacock’s The Traitors. She is currently preparing for this competition by going to the gym more regularly, focusing on the stairmaster and treadmills. "I do huff and puff going up the stairs, so I gotta get back into the gym and work on my stamina," she told E! News in a recent interview. Lastly, she hinted that she has already been making a playlist for choreography, and although she has not released what is on it, she implied it had something to do with her being a 90’s baby.
Maura Higgins was thrilled to announce her spot this season, telling Good Morning America that she'd been manifesting this role for a while. Higgins is best known for being a Love Island UK season 5 finalist as well as the runner-up on season 4 of Traitors. She has been persistent in wanting one of her fellow Traitors castmates, Mark Ballas to be her partner, as he is a professional dancer for the show.
Jackson Olson is the second baseman for the popular Georgia-based baseball team, The Savannah Bananas. The baseball player has gotten love online from his girlfriend, Maggie Sajak’s father, Pat Sajak, who is the host of Wheel of Fortune. “When I was a kid, I never thought any of this was possible,” Olson said. “I was a shy kid that never danced, never put myself out there, never entertained, and found a passion for it.”
Guillermo Rodriguez is a comedic sidekick to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live. He was first discovered in the parking lot, where he worked as a security guard, and has been part of the show for 23 years. He’s also recently launched his own salsa dip, Guillermo's Salsa.
