Christian Walker Is the Internet's Most Interesting Conservative
Christian Walker is the most interesting far-right conservative on the internet. Walker, son of Heisman trophy winning football player Herschel Walker, has made a name for himself by posting radical right wing videos on several social media platforms. Christian had over 400k followers on both Instagram and TikTok, before being banned from Tiktok in early 2021 for violating community guidelines. The 22-year-old college student currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he attends UCLA.
Christian first went viral for posting an Instagram story in which he yelled “We will win by the end of this. Period. End of conversation. Build the wall!” and then playing Doja Cat sporting a Starbucks Caramel Macchiato. Obviously, Christian was laughed at across the internet for this video and it wasn’t the last time he experienced viral fame. Christian gained even more national attention when he posted a viral video complaining about California gas prices while wearing a Balenicaga hoodie. In the video, Walker yells about how President Biden is the reason for the excessively expensive gas. Christian fails to acknowledge that gas prices are bound to be increasing right now, since the pandemic is easing and people are driving more. Walker was pulverized on social media for the video. Most critics pointed to the hypocrisy of Christain’s claim, since he was wearing an estimated $700 hoodie while complaining about gas prices. In addition to gas stations, you can find Christian screaming about so-called liberalism in the Target parking lot or yelling about pride flags in the Starbucks drive through. Christain is known for saying radical things on TikTok to draw shock value to him and start petty arguments online. He often talks about his opposition to “cancel culture” and loves to talk about how he doesn't care about internet backlash. And that’s a good thing, because Christain thrives off of it.
Christian adamantly supports ex-President Trump and prides himself as a “radical free-speech activist,” as noted in his Instagram bio. Christian has strongly opposed liberal views, often characterizing them as “ghetto.” However, a large portion of Christian’s following doesn’t come from like-minded conservatives. Many of his followers are actually liberals or sane conservatives that enjoy poking fun at Christian. Even though he is often laughed at, Christian has done a masterful job creating a brand for himself and gaining notoriety on social media. Christian’s father, Herschel Walker, is also a wel-known conservative who is running for a seat in the Georgia Senate in the upcoming elections. Herschel has been a very public supporter of Donald Trump and has received immense donations from Trump along with other wealthy political figures. His father’s political success had helped Christian launch his viral fame to new heights. Christian has used his dad’s following to create a cult of young conservatives on Tiktok and shows no signs of stopping any time soon.
